    According to WD if you use a 3rd party FW some features will be disabled.

    what i would like to know is what are the features.

    all online content will be crippled, netflix will likely never work again, even after going back to WD OEM firmware, so I have read..

    Of course, the point is moot since there is no 3rd party FW for the Hub yet AFAIK.
