Because of it's 1TB storage, does this mean it can be accessed on a home network and its contents be viewed on another tv/device with network access?

I think i want to combine one with the WD Livewire, but this sounds great because the internal storage can be my primary storage device and my external hdd (which I currently play through my WDTV Live) can be a backup.

So, can the Live Hub's content be shared on the network?

    Thanks
    Alex

Yes if I understand you correctly.

I can see files on my Hub from my Pc and also from my networked WD Live I have up stairs. That's the nice thing about the Hub and the reason I got one. I don't have to run downstairs to turn anything on when I want to watch my movies upstairs on my Live it's a NAS and ready to go.

The Hub is the best way to go IMO.
