    Hello,
I just want to get some opinions. I have had my Live Hub for about a month and a half. Prior to that I had the original WDTV box that was gen 1. Having many movies on an external hard drive of different file types, I have to say, the WDTV box was fast and I had great quality on my television.
So when I saw that the Live Hub was out, I upgraded just to have a few more bangs and whistles. Unfortunately, I've noticed from day one that it is VERY slow and it takes a long time to flip "pages" for movie posters. Sometimes there are even errors that it creates and I have to eject my external hard drive and scan for errors on my PC.

I guess I was wondering if this seems the same as most are dealing with, or should I try to return it to the store because mine is a dud. I have tried resetting the box multiple times and I have upgraded the firmware twice since purchasing the unit. I am running the most current firmware.

I'm considering just going back to my old box. Any light you could shed would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I've noticed that the "errors" aren't actually errors and that it's just Windows 7 being the pain in the ass that all Microsoft programs usually are. When I plug the same drive (the one that Windows says has errors) into on of my Linux systems and scan for errors, none come up. As for it being slow, I've never owned one of the previous models so I can't compare the Hub to anything. I will say that there's a little bit of a delay in switching between pages but it's almost negligible.

Trying exchanging for a new unit and see if the problems still arise.
