I'm using a WDTV and WD external drive, connected to a Rotel amplifier and driving Mission Cyrus speakers plus powered sub woofer
Using a small CRT TV for the WDTV to see the files (The TV I already had and couldn't give away, let alone sell ) Audio out plugged into the amplifier Working well with good quality sound, it's like a mini jukebox and has a good WAF ! AS the WDTV plays MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC, FLAC, Dolby Digital, AIF and MKA. It has no problem with my collection of downloaded FLAC files You can here the difference between MP3 and FLAC and WAV files, I don't use many MP3 any more Using the older version WDTV for the Hi-Fi, I had an excuse to buy a WDTV Live for the TV lounge The WDTV media players are so good for so little money everyone who has a TV should have one, or two as in my case ! |
