       Connectivity issues - Loosing network after 30 seconds, Will only connect for a short period of time

    Hi all,

    Newbie here! I've just bought a WD TV Live Hub and am having almighty nightmares in setting the thing up.

    It is hardwired into my Netgear router. I go to Auto setup Network and it gets an IP address. I then go to check network, and we have three ticks. Hurrah!

    It will then work for about 30 seconds - I can get the latest weather, and I get a "New Firmware" box on the home screen. However, it will never donwload the firmware as it drops the network.

    If I go back into Check Network, then I only have an IP address (DNS and Internet are crossed out rather than ticked). I go back into Auto setup and everything works again for 30 seconds.

    What do you think? Its driving me absolutely nuts. The router is fine - none of my other devices have a problem and I have also tried a new LAN cable without success.

    Any help much appreciated - I'm on the verge of sending it back already (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
