    i Have a WDTV live with WDLXTV-LIVE 0.4.5.3 firmware, i have noticed on some mkv titles and avi dvd rips that support dolby digital im getting a crackle in the audio, its not a cable issue as i have swapped optical cables, and also on my mkvs that are encoded with DTS there is no problem, its only occurs on some mkv and avi's. i upgraded from 1.04.22 because it was doing it with that firmware but sill it did not fix the issue
    any ideas?

    Edit: just a follow up i noticed it seem to occur most on HDTV rips of tv shows that are encoded in .mkv
