Not looking for any feedback necessarily here, but just posting in hopes that this helps someone else's evening go more smoothly -

in the last 24 hours, audio output to my receiver via HDMI decreased suddenly and drastically - not a total mute, but close (had to have the volume maxed out on my Bose system/Pioneer receiver (ie +12dB) to achieve a suitable volume for an average movie file, for instance). Went through all my attached devices to pin it down to the WDTV Live - everything else was sending/being interpreted as 'normal' volume input signals except this device.

There don't seem to be any tweakable internal settings for this - but after much futzing around, a simple 'restart device' command (via the dui) got this back to 'normal.' Unsure if i did anything to cause this, and i'm certain that several simple power-off-and-ons didn't change the situation, but the restart seems to invoke a different startup routine than a startup from standby in that things work now.

Hope this helps someone else. This seems to be a pretty good product otherwise in my 2 months or so of using it.
