help, WD my book 3tb drive not recognized |

Hi , i had a 500gb WD my book (fat32 format) that worked great with my wdtv media player 1st gen and now i upgraded to a new 3tb my book (ntfs format) and my wdtv media player does not recognize it even after installing the latest custom firmware. am i missing something here? what should i do? i searched the forum but could not find an answer.

get a smaller drive or wait for WD to put out a "fix", even if they do create a fix, it will be for the live (if we're lucky) and newer players, not the original or Gen2

As Rev said, no fix so far, and the 1st Gen., 2nd Gen. and Mini will not be updated any longer, so they'll max out at 2 TB per drive. |
