Hi, I bought a 2TB WD Elements External HDD. Formatted it for Mac, and copied all of my files over, plugged it in and it worked like a charm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

However, I've left it plugged in since, and have gone to use it 2 days later, and it just wasn't recognised in WD Live (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Tried unplugging power on both, plugging back into my Mac to see if it was the drive.

Eventually, WD Live found the drive after being left plugged in for about 10 mins...

Surely this isn't right, and it should just be recognised when plugged in?

Any comments on this that may help?

As a general rule it isn't a good idea to turn the player off without safely ejecting the drive first. To keep your data safe it's always recommended that you eject the drive when it won't be used for a while, or whenever you power down the player.

As for the forum view, I don't get what you mean? Each topic/thread has multiple posts that are visible one below the other, and if there are too many to fit on a page, the thread continues onto the second page and so on.
