    Hi I'm new here and looking in the web find this excellent forum so I hope to have the help I need here. I have a WD Live Plus about 1 month ago before that I have a WD not live I don't have problem with my old equipment but want to upgrade to the live model all of You have the reasons, My problem is that sometimes when I start the firs movie the WD live plus FREEZE and the only thing I can do is to disconnect the power cord and connect it again and for the rest of the night it doesn't freeze again I want to know if someone know the solution to this problem I recently update to 1.05.04 firmware

    Try a soft reset and then the hard reset button (see manual for more). Also try connecting using another cable or another type of cable, to rule that out as the problem source (something causing initial handshaking issues).
