i have reacent purchesed a wdlive box when i first conected it i could see the box on my windows 7 based laptop and on mac book and i could transfer movies to it But know i can not access the hard drive from the laptops But i can see the computer share drives and stream off of the laptops this is my first post sorry if not enough info (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) any help would be helpful

depending on what firmware you have there is an option in the setup menu for network access to the device, check there first.
