Hi neverlift and everyone. I am completely new to all of this... I am very interested in getting a WDTV. I am not sure which one to get? And which route to take after I purchase - through Usenet or get a vpn from StrongVPN?

Hey len, welcome to the forum. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) A Live or Live Plus (although Netflix in Canada still sucks from what I hear) would be best, or maybe a Hub if you prefer to have an internal HDD as well. You can network all 3 and access media from anywhere on your network, plus of course USB HDDs can always be directly attached as well.
A VPN service would help you access sites ordinarily not available to you, such as Netflix US etc. Usenet of course would be a different kettle of fish and enable you to download and archive the media/shows you prefer, rather than stream and watch. Your choice will obviously depend upon which route you prefer. Cheers! |

Thanks for your response. I think I would like to go with the route of using Usenet. Could you suggest the best one to sign up with? Also what steps do I take to get it going?
Thanks! |
