       WDTV freeze on playing a file

    I tried to play a .mkv file (avinaptic log below), but it freezes my G1 WDTV device.
    After I realized it uses an header compression:

    Removing header compression is required of course for the file to play properly on older WD TV models, but what raises a red flag are those multiple "Buffer underflow" lines and that "Error: Too many violations" bit. Looks like the file has serious issues. Maybe corrupted due to a bad download, or just a bad encode?
