       Connecting WDTV to network shares

    So I've read that connecting through network shares cures a lot of problems with .mkv files. I'm trying to connect to network shares ( which should be my homegroup correct? ) and it asks for my username and password. I've trying using the username anon with my wireless network pw and homegroup pw and it doesn't work. I've also tried using my wireless network and homegroup name as the username and this isn't working. I've checked my homegroup and the WDTV live has full access.. Help please!
