Greetings to the forums and anyone reading! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have a WD HDTV Player Gen2. which has served me well for almost 3 years now.
    I m using a 1Tb Seagate HDD on USB2 port and a Trascend 16Gb USB stick on port USB1.

While I tranfer files from the USB stick to the HDD its slow as hell. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif)
This just started to happen some days ago.Nothing weird caused it as far as I know.

I took out both HDD,run defragment and checked them for errors and
both had some small issuses that easily got fixed by Windows 7 x64.
    So,I thought all problems were solved,but no.Nothing better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I also did a Hard Reset on the player using the button on it (Pressed down 4").

Nothing changed.Transfer speeds still the same.Really really slow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Just some minutes before I tried switching drives and ports.
The HDD on USB1 and the stick on USB2.
Nothing changed at all.Still slow speeds.

THE ONLY THING that speeds things up is if I disable and enable Media Library again.
And I found this out by accident.IT works every time.
Media Library OFF,then ON,then USB to USB transfer works fast. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I dont know how to proceed from here. And I cant understand whats wrong.
    I even changed firmware.From B-Rads 0.4.5.3 to Padavan s 2.00!
Anyone could help me on this?!
    N.

I used a USB HUB on USB1 and that seemed to solve the problem.
Who would have thought of that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
    Anyway... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
