I have the WDTV Box (WDAVP00BE) and I have installed the latest custom firmware. When I play certain MKV files the box thinks they are music and then will not let me play any files (black screen when I select a video) until I re-format the harddrive and re-load it with new files. These all play fine on my v2 box. Any ideas?

Can you run MediaInfo on the video and paste a copy of the text format report here?
