    Hi everyone,

I recently dowloaded a video file that is in 3gpp format, which my old wdtv media player does not recognize.
My question is does the later wdtv players support this format?

    kind regards

    Seldon

Welcome to the forum, Seldon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Although 3GP is a video container format for mobile phones and is similar to MP4, I am pretty sure no WD TV model supports it. If you want to confirm, download the manuals from my sig below. It may be possible to play the audio/video streams inside if you remux it to an MP4, but no guarantees.

If you have any further queries, kindly post them in the appropriate section of the forum since this one is meant for new members to introduce themselves.
