I recently bought a wdlive so I'm very new to this...
Ive used roku on my other tv's but the one in our bedroom gets a very poor wifi connection so I tried this device since I can wire it directly... I like to stream amazon videos and since wdlive doesn't have that channel I do it through playon... Now when I'm watching a show I have trouble with the show pausing/skipping and I can't start it over it just starts again where it messed up in the first place and continues to mess up... I've tried asking the playon community for a fix and they tell me I may be better off with an older FW version.... Can anybody tell me which FW version they have the most success with playon? Thanks for any help! |

Before we go into FW versions, let us know your exact model number. I'm pretty sure you must have bought one of the 3rd Gen. Live SMPs and not the original Live (which is why I've moved this thread to the SMP section).

Yeah, WDBHG70000NBK-HESN is the model number, and the order description clearly indicates that you bought a Live SMP. Which FW version do you have installed right now? If you were told by the PlayOn community to try an older FW version, feel free to do so (FW downgrade instructions to be found in the Tutorials section). I'm not too sure though whether that's a viable fix. Given that some shows work fine and others don', it could very well be a PlayOn issue as well.
