       Playing dvd's, dvd+r works dvd-r doesn't

    I have installed 1.02.10.WDLXTV-0.5.6.1 on my media player. Everything works except playing commerial dvd's. I can see all the .vob files on the dvd, but cannot play them. However, if I copy the commercial dvd (which I assume is a dvd-r) to a dvd+r I can play the .vob files fine including the subtitles. Does anyone have an idea of how I can play the original (dvd-r) commercial dvd? Below is a link to the dvd drive I am using -

    That's because they're copy protected, and the WDTV does not decrypt the DVD's. So you have to rip them.
