       composite inteferance?

    Hello, I am currently running my wdtv through the composite for the majority of my viewing(bedroom sd tv) I am usually in bed about 10 feet away from the screen and all looks great until I was sitting on the end of the bed about 2 feet from the tv, I noticed some wavy lines in the menu background and sure enough they are present albeit harder to see during playback as well. it almost looks like signal interference, I have read on other sites that most folks are not happy with the composite quality and quite possibly the interference was there from the start and I was to far back in bed to notice. has anyone else encountered this problem? when I use the hdmi into a receiver and hdtv it looks excellent!

    I have done some searching and it seems to be an issue for some using composite and 3.5 inch powered external drives..... apparently there is some feedback not present with usb powered devices! Im gonna try a ferrite chole coil on the usb line see if that helps!

    will do, i put a support email into wd just to check and make sure using a magnetic core near the hdd would be alright! I figured safe than sorry! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
