this could possibly be the most stupid post ever, as I am not to sure if this product does what I think it does.
Im not the brightest when it comes to this so bare with me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9573LL/A?mco=MTExMTM4NzA As i have read many post on people having trouble with the audio on .mkv files, and as I have understood the problem lies in the audio being sendt via the TOSLINK and not the HDMI or RCA. And I have read all the posts on how to fix this with software, but I was wondering if this product might fix it for me. I have a harman kardon hk970 amp and my TV(Samsung LE40B535) has a minijack 3,5mm input and RCA output. My question is, if i connect the TOSLINK to my WD TV and the minijack to my TV, and then connect my TV via RCA to my amp, could this work? my guesses are its not going to but I had to ask to please my curiosity (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) And if this is not going to work, could someone give me a hint on a program for mac to convert audio on the .mkv to ac3?? Sorry for my bad english btw (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |
