       fast forward issues with mkv?

    I have a few movies in mkv and all look and play beautifully but any time I try to fast forward , the video kinda shudders and puts me back at the beginning of the movie! anyone else experience this and or have any tips?

    @campbellmack: I was just pointing out to tomnehek that his post was somewhat redundant. As a mod, I felt it was better to tell him instead of simply deleting his post. Also, you clearly never bothered to search for mkvmerge acc. to Pjotr's suggestion before posting here looking for a Windows solution. No further posts here either re. whether you managed to finally solve your problems or not using mkvmerge. So unhelpful? Well who's to know unless the person with the problem posts back stating whether a suggested solution worked for him or not? Obviously though, seems you're still searching for a solution and it's ironic really that a Google search brought you back here instead of you returning by yourself with updates and asking for further suggestions.
