Shuffle videos, How to play videos randomly? Options

Is there a way to shuffle multiple videos? The only way seems to be to create a playlist in WMP. I'd like to have this option in Network share. Am I missing something?

P.S. When I say shuffle videos, I mean playing video random..Before the WD I had tha Pinnacle Showcenter and it had an option "play all" or "play all random" (shuffle).

the only way i found to do this was to write a dos batch script to generate txt file .m3u playlists
then inside this have your videos on per line and make a vb app to randomize the contents of the playlist file each night
i do this and it works ok, but its a round about way of doing it

I was looking forward to buy another player that could play random videos, as this is a major flaw, but found out iomega screeplay players and even patriot box do not seem to have random videos, amazingly bad quality isn't it?

Nevertheless bc i could not temporarily ask you via this forum i looked for your solution and found
